Generation 1 and 2
Here is where it all started in a small farmhouse near Casale di Arola which is where the parents of Davide Benjamin, Don Genarro Giovanni Talamo and his wife Donna Gratzia Sagliano lived. Below is a photo of Mulo in Arola. Is he another descendant?

Davide Benjamin Talamo born about 1808 and married Josephine Servatius in Milan before November 1846. He moved to Paris and was a member of the Royal Italian Opera Co. (basso profundo). He lived in London for a while and sung before the Tzar in St. Petersberg. He had a sister Clorinda (del Guidice) and a brother Abramo. Notes from John:

The Servatius`s seem to have done the dirty on the Talamos, Josephines brother Bartholomew seems to have got grandfather Talamo involved in some dubious dealings in Moscow, ordered goods which grandfather promised to pay for then welched on the deal and went into the Greek Orthodox chuch in Moscow. Grandfather lost his job and his money.
Josephine tried to find him but he disappeared to New York where he was last heard of as a fencing instructor on E32nd st. Josephine tried to find her relative Baron Servatius reputed to have lots of money last heard of losing a local election in Paris region.
